GE 250W M250A2 Merc's « on: March 29, 2019, 11:45:59 AM » Author: GE101R
Just found two new 2006 GE M-250A2 250 watt Merc's for sale on Ebay. Have skimmed over PE hole but I can drill them out with a metal hole saw and install PC socket. Offered 50 dollars each and seller accepted. Good day for my collection as new merc's are getting scarce.

Thanks...I remember the epoxy encapsulated mercury vapor street light ballasts of the early 1960's. They were coated with red epoxy resin to stave out moisture. Their ballasts are tight wound and last with very little noise.

I missed them somehow. One was sold and I got the other two @ 50.00 each. Could not turn that down.

I really should have tried to offer something like that... I would have loved to have one. Oh well, too late now. I got a 175w PSMH M250R2 instead.

I missed 10 early 60's NEW Fisher Pierce 6660's in their Styrofoam cartons that sold last year for about 25.00 each if I remember correctly. I was sick for days.. and days....
