The former youtuber Grant Thompson, more commonly known as "The King of Random" was killed in a paragliding accident yesterday. I was absolutely shocked when I heard the news. He quit making videos a little over a year ago following a legal issue involved in making explosives and the channel was taken over by someone else. His videos were a huge part of my childhood and really got me into science stuff (and I think that's part of where my lighting interests started too).
