@Icefoglights, that V-star is a beast too, and unlike my bike (different bike than the one I talked about previously) yours is clean.
I need to clean up mine badly. How many cc's is this one? Looks like a big V twin (1600cc...?)

This one is only a 650.

I work hard to keep it clean, especially since I don't have any easy to wash it, aside from going down to a self service car wash with a stack of quarters.

I picked up another V Star.  This time it's a 2007 650 Custom.  Same frame and motor as the Silverado but with different forks, handlebars, and bodywork.  This one will be kept at my nephew's house in Arksansas so we can go riding when I'm in the area.  Having my motorcycle at home in Alaska means I can ride regularly when I'm home in the summer, but when I'm with my nephew, the only thing we could do is take turns riding his bike to the end of the street, or riding 2 up on his.  This solved that problem.  Already put about 102 miles on it this weekend.

@Icefoglights, Alaska?? I just realized that's where you're at... I've always thought that Alaska was always cold and snowy,
and no one would be able to ride a motorcycle successfully there, but I guess I was wrong.
