If I was in charge, I would have the ballasts in older streetlights replaced with metal halide ones rather than having them replaced with today's garbage.

that's a great idea chapman84!

if i was in charge i would also use conversion ceramic metal halide lamps to be used on high pressure sodium ballast,anything to keep the old fixtures and white light!

it would be cool to see cobraheads and clams retrofitted to metal halide or pulse start mercury vapor lamps!
