As folk will have seen I'm back as well with a new username. I chose it because I'm learning to play the mandolin, and will soon have enough money to buy this fine instrument.  Grin

Woohoo! Great to have you back too Sammi! This has made my heart glad, I for one have missed both of you muchly.  Smiley

@Ria and @Sammi, there's big changes that have taken place regarding me and the two wheels.
I'll have to take more photos and videos sometime. Unfortunately it involves moving.
But yeah... it's great to see you guys back again!

Hi all,

My other half Sammi and I decided to leave Lighting Gallery at the end of last year for various reasons.

Anyway, I have of late found myself missing the site, so after a lot of talk between ourselves and emails with Patrick of the admin team, I have decided to return, but with a different username. The reasons for this are many, but SOX is my favourite light source and 35W is the rating I have most of, so it seemed reasonable..!

I am hoping that most members here will welcome me back, I do know that I have had some rather opinionated "discussions" on here in the past, but that's where they are, the past, and that's where I intend them to stay. My mental health was suffering somewhat at the time of our departure, so we felt it was the only way out. Time is a great healer, it is said, and I find this to be true. I have a mild form of autism, and while it doesn't greatly impact my day to day life, it does cause me problems now and then, which are not helped when I think that people are targeting me for whatever reason.

I have had a lot of positive things happen in my life as a result of being a member here, and I hope this will continue. To those who for whatever reason had "issues" with me in the past, or the other way around, it doesn't really matter, I say this - you are forgiven. I hold no grudges, and I hope you can see it in your hearts to do the same. If so, all is good. If not, then I will be saddened, but I will not get into any arguments or flame wars, life is too short.

Take care and enjoy the hobby and your lives. I will endeavour to do the same. Sammi may well return at a future time, depending on how things go.
