FEIT and Luma lamps. Question. « on: October 03, 2019, 07:37:10 PM » Author: HomeBrewLamps
I'm looking to add a FEIT /D lamp to the collection. Are the /DX lamps on ebay actually /D's?

Also how're Luma and CXS branded lamps?

All of Feit's /DX lamps are in fact, /D lamps (at least from my experience).

Never heard of Luma and CXS, so i assume they're likely generics.

Man if you posted this WAY earlier I could've gotten you 3 80w Feit/D Mercs from the Restore. Passed them up 2-3 months ago.

I have a couple of new Feit 175w lamps and they have a weak phosphor coating, roughly halfway between /d and /dx.

Aww man. I usually impulsively buy any cheap hid lamp I see at restores. Even if they're Chinese.

The way I see it if it's cheap, and it works, that's one more bulb I can burn through before delving into the vintage stocks.
