A few things on my want list. « on: April 05, 2021, 01:43:02 AM » Author: HomeBrewLamps
So disclaimer this is for the future as I do not have all my funds yet. But in a week or two I will be receiving my stimulus. And I'm thinking of splurging a small portion of that on lighting along with taking care of some priorities.

Some things that I want would be:

A glass bowl for my M250R2.

arms for my Bucket light, M400 and M250R2. I have no way to use these lights at the moment.

And a Chicago crime fighter, preferably one with a glass bowl or acrylic to avoid the yellowing issue. And of a lower wattage like 175 watt and below.

If you're not a stickler for getting a OEM GE glass for your M-250R2, there's a few Holophane 4215 refractors on eBay. They're pretty good looking and should fit. There's also a plastic OEM GE refractor.

As for arms, these seem to be of pretty decent quality yet still affordable.

I don't think there are any Crime Fighters currently on eBay. There were a few of the M-400 310w version on eBay last fall and I saw a 175w MV M-250R one from a Ontario seller locally.

What diameter arm would be needed for a small cobra head 1 1/4? Is it two inches for the medium sized ones?

Pretty much all of my cobraheads have slipfitters that work with both 1-1/4" and 2" arms.

I do recommend using 2" arms for the larger/heavier lights, particularly if you're also using a longer arm.
