So while browsing some long ago threads i found https://www.lighting-gallery.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimcdb.org%2Fres%2Fsmileys%2Fwhistle.gif&hash=3a182db90d08469264b9235dfb4bcd5b this emoji. Looks like a combination of mr green and gallery style eye roll plus a bit of lol. Anyone know was this an emoji and if so why was it removed? Be cool if we had it back even in yellow as it would seem fit for the gallery. Any info appreciated! :D

Personally I prefer to call these "emoticons" because that was their original name on forums before texting and messenger came out with "emojis" and suddenly people started calling it that on forums also.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Yep .. "emoticons" or even better "smilies" .
I quite dislike the the word emojis, and won't use it.

Yes I also don't like the new term "Emoji" the original "emoticons" was a better fitting term but the general "Smile Icons" are what I like to call them

I'll add it in at some point. I might have to modify it. I always thought this forum needed a Mr Green.
