Can a US F90T17 lamp operate on a S16 starter or 80w-225w tanning bed starter? « on: October 25, 2020, 03:01:29 PM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
Has anyone ever tried lighting F90T17 lamps on S16 starters or 80w-225w tanning bed starters?

None of them u need FS6 starter that made for F90T17.   Just beefy FS2 version of the starter

I imagine this is due to the low operating voltage of the lamp.

I would imagine that the tanning bed starters I see on eBay would be better suited for the longer HO and VHO tubes?

Yes,  S16 is good for 95 and 110 watt HO
S10 starter is same as our FS4 starter so u can
Use them as long your 200 OCV and over
FS-2 85 volt is the voltage that triggers the starter
So runing a F40 on FS-2 will trigger the starter and act EOL
  Tube

Worldwide hid PM me if u like messaging me on FB so u dont make a pest out of your self asking all sort of questions.

I also wanted to help other members out in addition to myself if they are interested in performing similar experiments that I am interested in.
