I fortunately have broken no rare or uncommon lamps! I did break a 25w incandescent lamp a while ago though. I was unscrewing it over a tile floor and it fell out of the fixture and shattered.

Bathroom vanity fixture. It was a G25 shaped lamp, and I lost grip of it while lowering it from the fixture.

I did break a fluorescent tube years ago. I was carrying it down a flight of outside steps that were quite slippery.! 
My feet slipped from under me, and I fell on my bum.    ,
The tube shattered and shards went into my hand.!

Today I just stepped over my red incandescent xmas set!

my low-pressure sodium lamp fell out of its sleeve and smashed on the floor!
