Right. Even though I don't plan to buy them, I would still like to see them made domestically for the sake of the people here who will buy those lamps! Plus, maybe if they were made domestically they wouldn't be quite so junky.
I think a number of us here at LG should get together and invest in the necessary equipment for manufacturing incandescent lamps. That way we can all still have incandescent lamps made in the US after 2012! Of course, they would have to be manufactured for "research & development" purposes only.

Yeah, but CFLs nor LEDs can pull off the 100 CRI like incandescent can!

This is just sad and outrageous, everything is turning to crap! I just bought a 100w GE mercury bulb because I wanted GE quality, it was probably made in China for all I know....sad.
