I've been noticing an alarming trend of replacing the cobrahead streetlight fixtures
, that are quite versatile with the lightbulbs that can be inserted withing their casings, with more boring, sterile and plain uncustomizable flathead designs, that I reckon you have to replace the whole fixture when it fails. Like, we could've just put LEDs inside them with the same base, right? It wouldn't've been so costly, and the actual light emitted could've been better handpicked by the places' authorities they were replaced on
