Lately, I’ve gotten some negativity lately from a number of members about the photos that were posted. From one getting annoyed from posting the same description on posts about that Rubbermaid that hadn’t been opened in almost a decade, I only did that because I had nothing else to say, to another member sending me a PM about my legs showing up in some of those photos. Last but not least, one of the administrators took down one of my photos because my leg was in it! I had to take the photo quickly since I had to repack it since I’ll be moving in a couple weeks, and like most of you, am tired of seeing nothing but British fixtures on here. If you guys don’t want me to leave, I’ll consider sticking around, if not, I’ll leave.

Yeah, since @Eleco_SR304 left there hasn't really been much of a flood of British luminaires, and I still enjoy seeing British lights. If your not interested in them, just flick past the photos.

Thing is, this is one reason why I enjoy this site because people from all over the world post stuff we would never otherwise see in our countries! IMHO the British had some of the best fixtures like SOX

@Milwaukeeman2003: You are doing fine posting with the same old wording, but these bulbs that you have it unboxed are wonderful. Please take your time to describe these bulbs and feel the pride of the ownership of your collection

I have seen plenty of interesting things from you, do keep posting! If you don't want to have a generic description underneath, you can say a little about the lamp, but most of it is self-explanatory.
Now, I don't want to start any beef with the admins, but I don't think showing a leg in the picture is the end of the world. Just my humble opinion...

I’ve decided not to leave, but I agree, especially since it was completely unintentional. I’ll post a cropped version of the same picture later on.

Yep, cropping is good, along with getting the best quality picture possible.

"From one getting annoyed from posting the same description[...]because I had nothing else to say" "I had to take the photo quickly since I had to repack it since I’ll be moving in a couple weeks"
May it be, that in here lies the problem? You want to to press something in, for which you yourself find it so uninteristing that your incapable to write a description about?!? Maybe take your time and think about what you post, cropping, a usefull background not a scattered bedsheet and your dirty trousers in the back...
"am tired of seeing nothing but British fixtures on here" And i am tired of picture thrown in without any effort...
"one of the administrators took down one of my photos because my leg was in it" Really, I wonder why... maybe because this is lighting gallery and not onlyFans...
I am pretty sure that the member who contacted you did so in a polite way.
What are you tring to effect here? Do you want pity? Do you need attention? Can´t you deal with critic? It´s increadible annoying that there is a group of people here with the maturity of an infant. The fact some people are icapable of civily take part in this forum and talk like adults rather then a bunch of first graders...

But so what? I for example deeply hate formal suits, and like to wear teenager styled clothes even at work Call me immature now...

@RRK I agree. Life’s way too short to be so ridiculously serious about everything.
