Philips TrueForce indoor use « on: October 10, 2026, 11:46:02 AM » Author: merc
Philips TrueForce Core LED HPL E27 26W 840 ND FR 4000Lm have good specs including service life so I'd like to try one in an indoor luminare but I'm afraid it might be noisy/buzzy.

Some Philips filament LED 100W GLS replacements, although designed for indoor use, suffer from rather obtrusive buzz during operation. What about these TrueForce - are they ok? Thanks.

What?!!! :o I'd expect a bit more with their price tag!
And what about their Osram/Ledvance equivalent? They're rather ugly but seen them used in some outdoor lanterns so they should probably last more.
Anyway thanks for info!

Have you tried an autopsy to finally know what kind of ballast circuitry they squeezed in the stem? I remember asking Michael, initially he promised to do this, but he forgot and finally left (

Not ye, but getting annoying question from my wife when I will throw them away... :D According to symptoms it was classical broken bondwire weld: Started by internal flashing between normal light and only one side glowing way brighter than the other (to me clear sign of two chains in parallel), after some time it died completely...
