I have several bulbs in my collection with a Mfg marking of SA.  Can anyone tell me more about them?  See attached photo

It look more like the CSA logo - the Canadian technical testing authority (similar like UL in US,...)

It is indeed the logo for the CSA which is the Canadian Standards Association. It is similar to the UL in the USA and the CE in Europe. Here in Canada, this mark appears on a lot of products.

I don't know who makes this, but I have seen an inside frost 40w version of this with the 3500 hour life expectancy
