I just bought one of these as it will be the oldest fluorescent bulb I will ever own today.
I had a whole bunch of these old Mazda bulbs as a kid in the 1960s that was given to me for free that was in all colors.
Wished I still had them now.
Oh well, one is better than none.
My neighbor was a electrician and had a bunch of old fixtures and bulbs from remodels and every once in a while he would load up a few truck loads of them after he gutted them out for the copper and take the fixtures to the scrap yard.
So you could just pick through the piles of fixtures and take what you wanted.
But my mother did not like me dragging all this stuff home.
So I hid most of it in the attic.
My other neighbor was the district manager of the local Westinghouse authorized factory distributer and had all the new recessed and indirect (1960) Westinghouse fluorescent lighting in his home and of course all the new Westinghouse appliances.
Really looked modern and "space age".
Odd, I just looked at my old house on Google maps and it looks almost like it did when I was a kid.
very well maintained by the new owners.
But when I looked at the ultra modern (1960) house where the Westinghouse district manager lived, it looks like a dump site now.

Industrial Electronics 15 watt bulb salesman display.
I don't think I have ever seen a bulb etch with a gear before.
