Anyone on this site used the General Electric 2D wattmiser lamps

Apparently I'm told by Adam90 that they are prone to cracking at EOL

Anyone experienced this lamp cracking or any violent EOL?

All instant start electronic ballasted lamps will do this @ EOL.

High OCV. The way to avoid this is to re-lamp before EOL.

No they won't crack on any UK ballast, the only time they will crack is if you were to stick it on 250w SON ballast.
