Eric, I'm very sorry to hear that you're leaving and will really miss you. However, each to their own opinions, and you shouldn't feel forced to stay.

Still seeing blue AEL Autobahns in 2025...

You know, as much as I like Eric, he seems to have always been moody and egotistical, much like GE101R. Funny they had conflicts when they are just about the same person... super knowledgeable people, but very "sensitive" and quick to come to conclusions. But that's just me... a real loss.

Eric, I wish you luck in your future endeavors. No hate, but the "leave and rejoin" trope got old, rather quickly.

You locking this topic yourself has caused a TON of drama against me, you've left and come back many times. Make up your mind, we won't keep letting you come back if you keep causing drama!

Everyone is viewed differently by those around them.

Personally, I don’t find Eric egoistical; on the contrary, I find him helpful and friendly.

I base this assessment primarily on his insightful posts and comments, as well as his expert insights on the images of lamps and fixtures posted here.

Secondly, Eric has consistently provided useful tips regarding sales listings on eBay.

Thirdly, Eric went to the trouble of digitising catalogues and brochures for lamps and fixtures and making them available to all users here on LG as PDF files.

I certainly cannot describe these three things as self-serving.

For this, I am very grateful to Eric. For me, his departure is a great loss.

@Olav — I do in fact agree with you on the things you said... he provided wonderful resources and literature. But he could and very much did act egotistically, particularly surrounding his repeated departures from this site. That's the only "egotistical" aspect I am making mention of. As a member, and contributor to this site, he was one of, if not the best, in my opinion. Sorry if my comment was misinterpreted in any way.
