At the time, it was the best of the best! Unfortunately technology moved on. Still, the ecobra and even the original SMX-WIE are inspired from its design.

To be honest, I would not be surprised if they were discontinued, they were installed by our local train company in my state in Australia and used them for a little bit, they weren’t very good Lumineers I must say :eoled:

Seattle City Light installed these on residential streets back in 2009. Went into Seattle last night...the ones I saw were very dim, discolored, and near half of the chips had failed, while some have completely failed (and replaced with 3000K Leoteks). The only good part about them is if you owned Alcoa stock.
