I know I haven’t been much active on here lately but I just wanted to say my heart goes out to our members and everyone in the LA area who either no longer have anything left of their homes or are on the brink of being ordered to evacuate. Yes, there may be lots of vintage lights that have or are going to be taken out by these insane fires but honestly it doesn’t matter, all I hope and pray for is the safety of our fellow members in the area and their neighbors. I know me being on the east coast doesn’t help much but if anyone out there needs anything, please, never hesitate to send me a pm. Prayers are with you all…

I'll second all that Cameron. It's been horrible seeing all the destruction of peoples homes and livelihoods on the news and it must be so horrible for the people affected and and who are experiencing all of these things. There were terrible fires in my city some 22 years ago and I still know many people who lost everything are still severely affected with trauma and stress all these years later. I sincerely hope that no members on this site have to go through what I've seen some people in similar disasters endure. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone affected.

My prayers and heart goes out to everyone in those areas as well. Seeing buildings and especially entire neighborhoods burned made it hurt to look at.

Mine too, it looks absolutely devastating out there. From what I've seen over the news, its nothing like what I have ever seen before--
Side note, on the news I saw a downed (thought unburned) pole with a General Electric M-250R1

Somewhere There Is Light(ning)

Yeah that's sad to see, especially some of the video where they showed what was once a neighborhood, and it looked like *everything* in it was gone. Drought, and wind together are a very bad situation. Once a fire starts in those conditions there's basically nothing they can do to stop it.
There have been years its happened in my state as well.

A bit worried about this one... although a life changing/permanent mental damage event took place with me in Los Angeles California due to family issues in 2014... (My older brother and his wife... major fight between me and them that led to me cutting all ties/contacts with both of them.) ... I'm not sure whether they still live there or whether they've moved. I'm also unsure whether the area I lived in has been affected by these fires.
