Metal halide light fixtures at Publix? « on: January 24, 2025, 11:50:37 PM » Author: Cole D.
Both Publix stores in my town have full cutoff MH wall packs on the front of them.

I went to one tonight and noticed that they all appeared to have snow cone like LED bulbs in them now, and the ones toward the center, between the doors were all not working at all. Definitely not a good look!

I’ll have to check out the other store. Last time I went at night, the lights were still MH and seemed to be relamped recently. But, that was quite some time ago.

The Publix in the next town from me has fixtures that look the same, but have factory LED boards in them.

One of the Publix stores I went to had small MH floods lighting the front doors and the other had both FCO MH wallpacks and recessed squares lighting the front doors. Everything else was integrated LED. I didn’t see any LED retrofit lamps.

Nice, I remember before they built the new store in the next town with the LED wallpacks, that the old one had big MH wallpacks over the front windows and MH floods at the doorways.
