My SBMV of Philips ML and Osram HWL might become mainly archival :( « on: December 03, 2010, 07:53:49 AM » Author: dor123
I tried to install in my room of my father home the Philips ML 160W yesterday (2.dec.2010) and the high amount of light, the 100hz flickering, the moderate (65%) CRI and the strong UVA and heat, gave me a headache, and i feel that i can't continue to use this type lamps in my room :(.
Also our winter probably seems that it will be warm and very dry, with little rains, to be justify the use of a 160W SBMV heater in my room :(.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the international date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 220-240V, 50hz country.

Funny enough I used one for years as a room light, it was just the right amount of light. Luckily I had mosquito netting on all the windows, though I did have to spray it regularly with pyrethroid, to keep the small bugs that had a near teleport capability down to a manageable level, mostly dead in a heap outside the window.
