Thank you TheUniversalDave!  I am still very busy here with my new  "home:.    I am still working n my bathroom for the last few weeks now. I spent a lot of money with it and it is still no  not done.   Damon permits and everything related to household wiring has to be done in conduit.   Everything is to be in conduit and metal junction boxes. Been giving me a headache for sure.  I am almost done with my bathroom though which I am happy about.  So many building codes to know,  I don't think I will  do another project considering the city found my HO 8' HO fixtures and being upset over it. I just want people to let me do what I want to do and not worry about this silly LED crap.  People have already tried to take my old house fluorescent lighting and I have stopped them so far.  COM EDISON has already tried to take all my fluorescent lighting.

They tried to take your lights‽ :o Oh boy, I can promise you no one one have taken my lights!  I can't believe they tried to take your collection. What did you tell them when they asked why you had so many lights? What was their argument?

@Beta5:
I don't know if that was the case, but you could have a bit of financial troubles, being late with your mortgage payment, an impatient creditor, then short court and you have an executor (hope I used the correct term here, my English is far from perfect... :-) ) at your doorstep taking everything...

Hello everyone.   I just wanted to apologize for my my post for everything came out wrong.   I had a few too many drinks when I posted.   As far as the fixtures goes,  the electric company was doing some work behind my new home and they saw all my 8' HO fixtures and came up to me telling me lies that F96T12/HO lamps are no longer made and tried pushing LED saying that I would not stress the power transformer on the pole.  The city came to replace the water meter and saw all my fluorescent lamps and told me that I was lucky that the person wouldn't say anything.   The worker told me that some would have reported me to the EPA since it's considered a hazmat site for the number of lamps that I have.   Whatever.  I will keep collecting them to my heart's content.   My HO fixtures have survived running for 24 hours a day for 10 years straight.   Only 1 out of 10 fixtures had a replacement ballast.   The other 9 Advance ballasts work just fine!   Let's see an LED last that long!

Again, I apologize for the errors in my posting.

So fortunately it is not that bad as I have feared...

One or few lamps do not contain that much of the nasty stuff, but it is true, if the number of lamps becomes high, the safety of the site should be treated accordingly (to prevent the release of the content in the case of mass breakages, fire, flooding if applicable - events, that may release the content to the environment)...
