I've been doing extensive research on finding pictures of the Hanford Nuclear Site located in eastern Washington containing various LPS luminaires installed there. I initially found out about this when I watched a documentary regarding Hanford in class back in seventh grade history class. Now that I've found photos and Street Views, I'd like to show everyone my findings. My theory as to why they're there is most likely because of LIGO, which stands for "Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory." Built in 1992, it was (and still is) used to detect gravitational wave vibrations from outer space. However, the real reason is unknown. Photos: Philips SFL 404 flood lights Various images including HID flood lights, Philips SRX, the aforementioned SFL floods, and even a few night shots Philips SRX luminaires in a report of shots fired Street Views: Lensed Spaulding Lighting Palomars plus an AEL Series SP2 and SCO 125 Philips SRP's (later replaced by US Lighting Tech Jersey induction street lights More SRP's (later replaced by Visionaire Lighting Elements) Shoeboxes Yard full of Palomars plus a few spot replacement AEL Series 125's (bonus Whelen WPS-2806 siren) Empty lot with three Palomars and an SRP

I remember seeing this topic way back when but couldn’t find it after, thanks for bumping it up. It would be very trippy walking under bright monochromatic light surrounded by nuclear waste.
