It's about 95 degrees outside today, so I tested out the Hyper Tough floor fan that I recently bought from Walmart, to see if it can help maintain bringing cold air upstairs from downstairs, and sure enough, hot air is no longer an issue upstairs. My AC for my apartment is located just under the window, downstairs. The Hyper Tough fan is right next to the stairs. It's compact size allows for anyone to be able to pass it when going upstairs, and it's powerful enough that it actually pulls in that cold air from the AC, bringing that cold air upstairs. Upstairs is almost freezing right now. Added to that, harmonizing tones from my ceiling fan motor, the AC and the Hyper Tough floor fan at lowest setting... pretty epic experience. I could make an ASMR "for sleep" video with that. AC is at lowest setting as well, and that loft ceiling fan is at mid setting. The low whistle from the ceiling fan is just singing along with the AC and Hyper Tough floor fan. The hertz humming is also singing along too. Sounds incredible at times. That Hyper Tough fan is very powerful, by the way. At mid and highest speeds, it's far too loud. Forces windy cold air upstairs perfectly, but I definitely don't need the highest setting, at all.

Not today . Friday I did all new pads and rotors on all four corners of my friend's daughter's car . Stops nice and smooth now .

I wiped down the walls in my apartment, finally. The walls needed a wipe down... especially the area in between the balcony lights. Since I'm using a rubber fuel hose...  ... to cover up the wiring in between both fixtures, when I put that hose up, (well over a year ago) it marked up the wall quite a bit, and those marks had been on the wall since then, until today. lol My Genesis Coupe is set to be back in my hands again soon, so today, I finally opened my garage again. I had not opened that garage since I sold the Genesis almost 4 months ago. Everything seems to be better than I thought... not much spiders, or webs. Metal Halide Wallpacks are also still running strong, no surprise there.

Went to my garage, fired up the Metal Halides, and finally cut/broke down the large cardboard box that had been sitting in my garage since March. (This was the box that the round table in my downstairs living room came with during shipping.) To my surprise, that box had absolutely no spiders and barely any webs. My garage in general, barely had any webs. Really surprised by this. But, the show continues. My sportcar is back, and in the garage.

A couple of weeks ago, I converted a 2-F40 rapid start strip in a friend's shed in WV to type B LED tubes (I kept the original tubes and ballast).  The shed and everything in it is spider city, so I was prepared for the worst, but there was no evidence of spiders inside the fluorescent strip, even though it had been for at least 20 years.

@icefoglights, It's epic that you kept the ballast and the tubes. I need to start doing the same with my friends places, if they ever want to get rid of their fluorescent lighting, though none of my friends seem to have fluorescent lighting, at least none of my friends as of late. (Except for lighting gallery members, of course.) Luckily you didn't have to deal with any spiders either, @icefoglights. Especially since that fixture was there for 20 years.

Replaced the 25 year old Broan exhaust fan in the laundry room. It had run almost 24/7 for all that time. Here's to another 25 years out of the new Broan.

Earlier this week, did some cleaning/re-organizing of the room where I store most of my Christmas lights. Moved shelves, took down some shelves, built some new ones(with parts from the old) There were old 2x4-foot wraparound fixtures(random mix of T12 & T8, none with covers) on some of the shelves before .. those got moved around so all shelves have lights now. Also added 2xF40 HPF strips around the outside of the shelves, since how they're positioned now they block a good part of the room lighting. (none of the lights on the shelves are truly needed, but they're kinda nice to have...and more importantly its a good place to store the things. .lol.) The 'project' was more about the shelves than their attached lights though.

Just finished setting up my first fake five foot floor plant in my downstairs living room. Can't get them yet, but I will be setting up two taller floor plants in my upstairs loft, to the left and to the right of my TV, just under the shelves that hold my F30T12 fixtures.
