in my bedroom I have a rapid start 40w fixture with two Westinghouse black ended tubes. they started off as a really nice warm white color when i installed them but one has turned to a pinkish gross color. anyone know how to fix this?

You can try non acidic super glue around the end caps in hopes it seals any leaks that might be there, but no guarantees.  Could also be microscopic cracks in the glass.  Run it hard and to EoL as best you can!
