Here (Italy), thank to (a lot of) taxes: 2,3€/l for gasoline and diesel (9,5$/gal, 7,28£/gal).
I've just put 30€ of LPG in my car (0,9€/l -> 3,7$/gal, 2,8£/gal).

We're not in the EU any more but we still get hammered for tax $:-\$

Here the region I live in Switzerland the actual price for:

95 Octane: CHF 1.97 per liter (1.93€)
98 Octane: CHF. 2.02 per liter (1.98€)
Diesel: CHF 2.23 per liter. (2.18€)
CNG at our company: CHF 1.80 (1.76€)

Note that we always pay around CHF 0.20 per liter more for Diesel!

I actually seen such enormous gas price difference at my area: USD $4.29 per US gallon for Unleaded gas while USD $5.29 per US gallon of diesel
