Congrats! I got pretty lucky with shipping for some of my cobraheads but since they're only 2.5 hours away, might as well drive up.

I'll see what i can do, the guy on the phone at Bucyrus said no to the tours but i think i can talk to someone about getting one for enthusiast over email. :wndr:

Besides my parents seem perfectly fine with me going to Ohio, just not on my own. :mrg:

I will bring the M400 with me for you to see and for any ge engineer that wants too. 8)

That's my plan ! Shipping would probably be insane ! Besides , it's only 2-2 1/2 hrs. away .

Yep, that's what I'd do...and I have. The farthest I've driven for cobra-heads was over 800 miles in 16 hours! :poof:

Good question, what do you drive Ria? Is it one of those British three wheeled cars?

Nothing at the moment, my last car (Peugeot 307) literally blew up (oil pump failed) the day before I moved house up here..! Friday afternoon job that car was, cost me an arm and at least three legs over the time I had it  :curse:

We're right in the city centre here, most places are within walking distance, if we do need a car there's a car club we use when we need one for short trips. If we need one for longer then we just hire one. I admit I miss having a car sometimes, but I don't miss the associated bills (fuel, insurance, taxes etc.)  ;D

 @ Econolite03 : FedUp , SmashEx ,etc. !
@ Ria : Uh, NO ! That will be a job for the Merc ! Honestly , the Subie might be fine but I don't want to take any chances ! As for your Peugeot , I just googled them . Question : Is the Peugeot 307 a good car ? Answer : JD Power customer satisfaction surveys show that 307 owners are most unhappy with mechanical reliability and interior quality, but they're also not chuffed with exterior quality, vehicle performance or dealer service either. So, there's a lengthy checklist of potential problems.
 @ BT-25 : I remember that cobra-head road trip !
 @ Bulbman : Keep me informed !
@ Sammi : I remember seem those on TV !

@ wide-lite 1000 - The car itself wasn't too bad, the bodywork was fine, there wasn't a speck of rust anywhere, it was just the engine/transmission. I had to have a new clutch one time, and it drank oil, as I said its end was down to the oil pump. If I'd had the time (i.e. wasn't moving house the next day) I could have dropped a replacement engine in it, but I ended up scrapping it for a fraction of its value  :-\
