									| Hi there,
I’m looking for 90 or 180W SOX lamps.

The reason being is this will determine what I get next for the collection, simply because I don’t want to invest in a LPS fixture in those wattages but then have no bulb(s) for it, making it useless. If I could find a 90W lamp then I’d get a 90W fixture for it, if that makes sense. Any web finds, trades, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 Thanks.

									| Would you also be interested in any 66w, 91w, and 131w SOX-E lamps too? | |

									| *edit* If they could run on a 90 or 180W ballast, I’d consider it. | |

									| https://www.ebay.com/itm/294923088617  This would be worth a message to seller as it isn't clear if you'd be getting 1 or 2 for that price !! The item description says "2 each" which leads me to believe they have 2 lots of 2 !!     Either way , the price is worth it for just one !!!!    | |

									| Yeah, good price for them. Most 180w fixtures should run the 135w lamps too but I guess it'll look a bit strange with the light no going all the way to the end of the reflector. | |

									| The 66w SOX-E lamps are intended as an energy saver version for 90w SOX low pressure sodium lamps while 131w SOX-E low pressure sodium lamps are intended as an energy saver version for 180w SOX low pressure sodium lamps. | |

									| Indeed. Savings can be made with normal SOX ballasts, but they perform a lot more efficiently with the correct SOX-E ballasts. Sadly, those are hard to find these days, they were never all that common in the UK to start with, I believe mainland Europe made greater use of them. | |

									| I don’t mind the SOX-E lamps, if I found one for a fair price I’d probably get it. I don’t want to spoil it, but I plan on acquiring a 180W SOX fixture in the coming month. | |
