Do tinted glasses lenses mess up your color vision?

I'm curious about the effects of tinted lenses on your eyes over long periods of time, can it permanently alter your vision?
Currently have a pair of yellow tints I like to wear every other week or so. It enhances the yellows and greens and mutes the blues (which is good for filtering out the terrible blue glow from screens and bright white lights).

When I put a blue tinted "transparent paper" on my eyes, I see more warmer than normal, but the effect is very short, or when you use classical red and blue 3D glasses out of the cinema, but I don't know the effects if you use by larger periodes.
