Buying on eBay quite a lot... « on: November 25, 2020, 12:57:46 PM » Author: Mandolin Girl
What with the current situation, my buying of things, mostly lighting related has gone through the roof.!!  :poof:
This year my purchase history is five pages long, and will probably edge onto six pages.  :wndr:
Whereas in 2018 and 2019 it just made it onto two pages for each year.

Yup, all of that retail therapy and not being able to get out to the shops.  :'(

I'm at over £1,600 and counting, which is over half of what I get.

I can count all my online orders with my hands, and all for a couple 10s of dollars in total.  ::)

Before the pandemic I didn't even order online, I bought all my stuff from bargains or supermarkets, but after the virus my lighting collection practically stopped, I only get one bulb every one or two months.  ::)

One or two months isn't bad, last week I got some new lamps for the first time since pretty much last year.

We're not restricted in what we spend though.  :wndr:
Other than only spending what we actually have in our accounts, having got out of debt we have no wish to go back into it.  :poof:
Most of the time we encourage each other to carry on spending...

I've bought a couple HID lamps at my local ReStore, but I've actually bought less lighting this year, than past years. But I have bought a lot of other things on eBay too.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

No wonder it’s been so hard to find good deals lately. ;)

This year's update to the length of the list is that it's a third of the way down the seventh page.!!!  :poof:
