Pendant Westinghouse OV-20 underpass light on the Alameda St and Los Angeles St onramp to the US-101 North in Los Angeles, California.

It's been about five years since I last saw it. I barely saw it but it caught my eye. Haven't seen it at night. Behind it are soffit lights with flat glass lenses, which I assume are still MV. One got a lowbay hacked into it, which I assume is HPS.

I’m sure someone has probably already posted this but here it is just in case I guess. The area is too dangerous to visit in person unfortunately.

See Here

Here’s a row of abandoned light poles in a unincorporated area. The row consists of a incandescent gumball, a mercury M-400, and incandescent post tops missing their globes. It appears at some point (I’d say late 70s or early 80s), SCE installed their own lights on wooden poles, which I suspect led to this circuit being disconnected.

Oooh nice finds, lots of seemingly abandoned luminaires on that road. Further down the road at the overpass are three shaded OV20s. One horizontal and two pendant.

I remember seeing a link to those a while back, but somewhere on the gallery.

Those OV-20s may be CalTrans-owned.

I’ve mentioned these locations in the past but never linked them, so here they are just for reference. Here’s a group of some abandoned Norelco(Philips) SRPs in a parking lot on a vacant parcel in San Bernardino. These appear to be 135W SOX.

See Here

When I was looking around the infamous Queen Mary parking lot in Long Beach, I spotted where they were storing spare Norelco(Philips) SRPs, Spaulding Palomars, and other stuff on top of a shipping container. This is a older shot, they appear to be a mix of 90W and 135W SOX.

These fixtures along the railroad tracks at a warehouse (possibly MBTA) at the Holbrook/Avon town line. I'll make a point to see these if I can!

Here’s something I thought was strange. I found a AEL 315 “crimefighter” in Chicago. Take a close look, it’s not the typical GE M-250A2 version.

These lanterns look very European to me. It is possible they might have been imported from Mexico and are operating Philips SON-T PIA high pressure sodium lamps since some street lanterns in Mexico use European specification high pressure sodium lamps such as the Philips SON-T PIA and the Osram NAV-T Super 4Y lamps.

Those luminaires in the link above are the Philips/Lumec Capella CPLM. They are intended for the North American market. From the looks of it, they appear to be using standard LU250 lamps.
