Possible source for new NEMA bucket refractors « on: January 07, 2021, 08:18:58 PM » Author: Cole D.
Saw these mentioned in this month's catalog I received from Econolight. Looked on their site to see the price and it's $27.99 which isn't that bad, plus whatever shipping is. These are for the RUL LED utility lights, but look like they should fit any HID NEMA head.

They won't be available until February though, but might be worth a look as these are getting harder to find.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Interesting, I like the nod to the HID yard lights in the description too.

Clear reflector/refractor used to replicate the classic look from HID barn lights.

There's also these GE buckets on eBay for $18.99. Shipping prices would vary I guess though.

Probably “wanted” because the poster is asking where to get something.

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

Yeah, those GEs are really nice. They have the clamp band, and security chain, and are more heavy duty for sure. I think they give a nice vintage look, I have one but it doesn't have the chain. These like this Econolight though look more appropriate I think though on newer AEL, Cooper and GE HPS NEMAs.
