Holophane Fixtures « on: February 09, 2021, 02:14:44 PM » Author: msantos
Hi,

My first post here...  I am renovating a basement and came across some fluorescent fixtures.  I am unsure of the make of the fixture, but each had 4 x holophane 11f12 diffusers in them.  They are ribbed glass and in great shape.  I am not familiar with these types of fixtures or diffusers but thought I would post to see if these are of any value or anyone is interested in them.

These are some nice fixtures, and are worthwhile to keep or sell.  :)
Are they T12 or T17?

T 12 is 12/8 inch diameiter tubes or 1 1/2 diameter tubes. T17 lamps are 2 1/8 diameter tubes. :D A ruler can help you measure them and the etch has info too. :D

Agreed, these are some pretty nice fixtures, especially since they're the older preheat style fixtures which are more collectible I would say compared to a more modern fluorescent fixture. The glass diffuser is rarely seen nowadays too.

Well, if anyone is interested let me know.  I don't have a plan to keep them.
