So far I've owned only two cars.... my Pontiac G6, and my former Pontiac Grand Prix, GT model. (I've got a video of that car if ya'll
want to check that out. Stupid video though, from 2012.) Both rather... boring cars... although the Pontiac Grand Prix was more exciting than
the G6. But... rod knock. That's how that car ended. That Grand Prix was my first car.
These look like a nice car.Do you prefer motorcycle more than a car ? |

@Jovan, since this is a topic on our car history, I won't comment.  I will say however, that both cars are rather bland. Especially the G6. As far as reliability is concerned though, the G6 has proven to be better by far. I have had that car since 2014. It's not the nicest regarding looks though. Rust, paint chips, flickering LED license plate light... hopefully sometime soon I can post a comment on this thread saying "I've just bought another car." |

| First car: 2004 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 GLS in Spice Red
Second car: 2016 Subaru Legacy 3.6R in Ice Silver
Both cars have been excellent and really reliable with routine maintenance. The Jetta is still in my family as a “spare car.” My brother and sister-in-law have it now. The Jetta has been the longest my family and I have kept a car, going on 11 years.
The Legacy is amazing! Very reliable and comfortable with great safety features. It’s gotten me through winter conditions in West Virginia and New York with ease. Gotta love that 4WD! Other than the defective windshield, I’ve only had to get standard routine maintenance on the Legacy. I’m willing to invest in it and make it last as long as possible. I’m nearing 100000 miles in it now.
Not sure what I want for my next car. I might get a “fun car” like an older Honda S2000 or earlier generation Miata to keep alongside the daily driver Subaru.

| I used to drive a 1989 volvo 240, I bought it from the original owner who was at the time A 97 year old lady. I was particularly looking for a volvo 240 and was having no luck when i saw it parked in the lady's driveway and thought what the hell, i will ask. she actually sold it to me for a very good price. the odometer was broken as they tend to do, and it broke at 127,000 miles in 2004, so it has alot more than that. I Slowly restored the car as it was my daily driver and only car at the time. i never got it done, but had it pretty nice. mostly needed some interior plastic trim and other small stuff, but everything was in really good shape and everything worked. one day i let my mother borrow it to drive to work because I am nice and her truck was kind of screwy and of course she ran in to the back of a van not looking where she was going and completely destroyed the car. she still has not replaced it and we still are not getting along very well as she is blaming it on me because my car is too old and does not have anti lock brakes. but she was purely watching the light and not where she was going because she was trying to speed through a yellow light. she went to court for the ticket and basically put on the she was so upset because she crashed my car that i looked so long for and because i have autism i don't understand. I would forgive her about the car if it were not for her attitude and blaming the crash on my car being too old as opposed to her not paying attention. so right now i am driving her backup truck a 2002 ford ranger with the 3.0 V6 engine, the one notorious for blowing the cylinder head it has 176,000 miles on it, which for a ford is alot. and I am not happy about it at all.

My first is one that I am particularly fond of. 1986 Toyota corolla, S trim, 1.6L 4A-LC, 4 Speed manual sedan in blue. It is about as simple as I can ask it to be with absolutely 0 features in it but all the ones I need. It is a nice little car; goes alright for its age. It is more or less useless for me as to where I live you cannot drive alone until you are 18 which I am about 10 months off so I can't really take it out anywhere unless there is a passenger with a full license it is annoying but not much I can do about it.

Volvo has nice cars.V6 is good and has good sound.You are not guilty because someone destroyed your car.Anti lock brakes have modern cars.Older cars which don't have ABS are also good if owner is taking care of them. |

I wonder if that would result in me getting a slap from the admins if I post that   . If they don't like it too much I can PM you the pictures. I can't really do much at the moment as it is currently at the mechanics for a few things that I can't be bothered to fix in the timeframe I have. I saw your earlier post and not all the time computers get in the way. They sure beat having to adjust a carby every now and again, another useful feature is fault codes they really help with repairs when they tell you when thins fail as opposed to my car when something fails it fails hard. |

I can't post anything about it as I am in the process of it getting registered and I'd like it to look a lot less grubby that it is at the moment. I'll try and collate the pictures so I don't flood the galley. With the large image resolutions on the forums... Would it be possible that you can add it to a kind of picture box that you can zoom it to your liking so it doesn't fill the display or you could just automatically scale it. |

| My 1st car was a 1996 F150 5.0. I still have it, it just doesn't get driven right now because of all the salt on roads, when it gets warm out it's getting some miles put on it for sure. But it's too clean to rust out like all the other ones around here. And I couldn't help myself from modifying it, Explorer heads, headers, all that stuff. And what I drive everyday is my 2001 Malibu that I actually got from member on here: Alights. Ended up putting a new transmission and a new engine which is a whole mash up of a few different engines (mainly a 3.4 from a grand am amd the top half is a 3.5 from a G6) And some other stuff in now it's a lot quicker than it used to be but I've still got much more work to do to it. And some other stuff in now it's a lot quicker than it used to be but I've still got much more work to do to it Eventually when I am old enough to have my own property all have more than that come a whole collection of random things I like.
