Mesko OURJ 400 with flashing metal halide lamp « on: February 25, 2021, 01:22:20 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
Here is a video of a Polish 400w metal halide street lantern know
n as the Mesko OURJ 400 that has a LRJ 400 metal halide lamp flashing indefinitely like an EOL preheat fluorescent tube. The lamp is being run on a mercury vapor ballast using the ZLM setup, which consists of a capacitor, a resistor, and a ZT400 glowstarter all being wired in a series configuration that is parallel to the lamp. I wonder what might cause the lamp to not fully ignite and behave like an EOL fluorescent tube upon startup?
