Hey all,

So i watched a new bigclive video about those little 3w uv germicidal lamps, and heard they can be ballasted of a standard us 120v 40w lamp. Could this work and does anyone know where i can get a few? :D

Yes it is entirely possible to run a 3W germicidal lamp if run in series with a 120V 40W incandescent lamp on 120VAC.  Proper ballasts for those 3W germicidal lamps are available on eBay from time to time as well so keep your eye out for those.

Those cute little germicidal lamps are readily available on Amazon, check out this link, amongst others:
https://www.amazon.com/GermGuardian-Purifier-GG1100W-GG1000-GG1100B/dp/B07WVTW38M
They are also available at my local hardware store, you should check yours to see if they stock them.

Now if you're asking about 40W incandescent lamps, I'll just say "Woosh" since the joke went right over my head LOL
