as some of you know i do have a Tendency to Break Lamps at a Very High Rate...and ive come to the conclusion that this problem is caused by me moving the lamps around and not leaving them in one Fixed Spot as they Should be....and in other cases its caused by just plain bad judgement,so i've decided to try harder to stop Accidently Breaking so many Darn Lamps!

Yep,same here,best of luck,invest in one of those Rubbermaid totes with a lid,they work great for storage and get some bubble wrap too.

Another thing you can try is to build a display. Then like you said KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF
There are plenty of ways to do that and many dont cost much. Just look around as there are tons of ideas here!

Or you can buy socks of various sizes and colors (represent what lamp is in there like MV, HPS, MH...) and slip the lamp in them head first. (Base is last to go in.) Then use lite-lover's Rubbermaid tote boxes. I did with a few lamps as the rest are safely stored away. They will be put into socks later in the future.

Oh, one more thing. The socks has to be new and the tube kind. Don't want the lamps smelling of rotten cheese.
