| I have a small collection of them. I don't have anything too special though. I don't actively collect them but if one shows up for a good price, I'll get it.

| I collect locks, however not really padlocks. I tend to collect various cylinders and keys. I have no Best (or any SFIC, for that matter) but I have some Corbin (or Corbin Russwin), Sargent, Schlage, a few Abloy, a Medeco and a few off-brand. I also have a key duplicator and lots of various blanks.
Although time consuming, there is a certain satisfaction to hand-filing a new key for a lock.

Back in the days when it was common to have a 5 lever mortise lock as the main way of locking the front door I had a key that opened three different flats I lived in.!  |
