We were looking for an E26 lamp holder and saw one on eBay, then I checked the additional costs. 

I did not expect the import charges to be twice the value of the item and then some.!!! 

As for the shipping costs don't get me started.

Needless to say we won't be buying it.

Yep, buying internationally on eBay is way beyond a joke these days
