Last week, I found a 1980s Leviton "Decora electronic control". It appears to be a device that sits in a light fixture and remotely controls the light from a transmitter that it is wired to on the wall. Does anyone have anymore information?

Yes, that is an X-10 device. Leviton has (had?) a line of control panels, dimmers, and installable modules for home automation. Leviton doesn't have quite the same lineup of products as other X-10 vendors but their devices are all X-10 compatible. If you're interested, I have an original Leviton DEC catalog I might be able to scan and send you.
