Here's some harder to find PDFs of older streetlighting ads. As well I have attached a set of instructions for the Philips Goldeye and the Sylvania R47. Streetlighting ads

No problem, too bad I don't have a set for the second generation Goldeye. I'm sure a set must exist somewhere.

Yeah, pity that. Hopefully we'll come across it some day. Thanks again for the light, it's a nice little beastie, even if it does run a bit warm

ON LG FOR 2 YEARS! Please don't ask to meet up with me, as I am still living with my mother. Don't send me items either please, thank you! LED street lights are bad. Some look good though. HID is better. Please, watch out for the future. It's not looking good. Loves instruction manuals of any kind!

Interesting, thanks. By the way I've been experimenting with PFC capacitors on the Goldeye, as it delivers a rather poor 0.24 as it comes. I found that 24µF across the input (115V 60Hz) raised that to a rather impressive 0.96 which is pretty much perfect..! It still runs a bit warm, but nowhere near as bad as it was.

Hmm, I might try a 24µF on mine too. The last time I tested mine, I found a 17.5uF raised the PF enough to be considered HPF (.90+ PF). I have several 24uF capacitors so I might give that a try too. Hopefully it'll lower the operating temperature too. I didn't recall much improvement with mine with a 17.5µF capacitor though.
Uploading these two PDF spec sheets of the Cooper URB and URC by request.
