Resolutely crack down on inferior LED lighting!!
| In my opinion, the quality of fluorescent lamps is getting worse and worse under the condition that LED lighting is developing well. For example, THE OSram CFL, which I bought in 2015, still does not have EOL. However, the Philips TL5 14W/865 that I replaced in 2020 and the opple YK21RR that I replaced in 2021 both showed different degrees of optical decay, and even the Philips TL5C 22W/865 that seriously incompatible with the eletronic ballast. And replaced recently EOL in less than half a year.

Rich, Rollercoaster junkie!
| That’s happening with all traditional lighting, and has been for years now, I’ve had Philips Belgium HPI that don’t last a year, but fluorescent tubes here were the first to suffer, some manufacturers in the last 10 years even resorted to re-using halo phosphors! But why make decent tubes today when the industry is really trying to get rid of them altogether?, cheaper to just make a nasty one just to serve the existing installations until 2023?
