LED street lights are bad. Some look good though. HID is better.
Please, watch out for the future. It's not looking good. Loves instruction manuals of any kind!

I would also love to find some of those lanterns myself due to the fact that they have rare 400w H33 mercury vapor HX autotransformer ballasts designed for 120v 60hz, which is what I prefer since these ballasts tend to tolerate a greater degree of lamp choices compared to CWA ballasts. It will take a long time to find a Westinghouse OV400 lantern since they were discontinued decades ago. We might try searching flea markets, salvage stores, Facebook Marketplace, Offerup, and eBay. Those would possibly be the best places to find them, but it requires lots of patience and checking these places every day.

I agree. We all have that fear since LED lighting is taking over the world at a rapid pace and traditional fixtures are getting rarer by the day as they get scrapped for LED.

In some cases, you will need access to 240v 60hz mains as some Westinghouse OV400 lanterns used 400w H33 mercury vapor simple choke ballasts for 240v 60hz mains.
