I've seen that one before. It was pretty, but it was too expensive.

I think the TForce wins it for me too, in the compact (selfballasted) category. Otherwise I loke the 100..200mm diameter 6..10W LED panels, they tend to dissipate the heat rwther well, without any special materials and are well serviceable...

My favorite is the Philips clear WarmGlow LEDs with the old crown style diffusers from a few years ago.

I like the old Philips AmbientLEDs too. The Philips TForce Core HPLs look interesting but it seems like there isn't a equivalent version for the 120v market.

You have to take your hat off to Chinese manufacturing, and what they have achieved with the LED lamp just within the first 10 years!  8)
Where I am in the UK we first saw the sale of LED lamps in 2010, and they were incredibly expensive considering the first ones were not very good, using the old dome type diodes, and simple capacitive dropper drivers that were only available in one colour!, 6500K!

In those 10 years, the circuitry now has dedicated chips running the diodes to tight tolerance’s, with anti-flicker smoothing, and SMT, all compacted into ever smaller lamps and caps  ;)
And now with the superb micro engineering of the LED filament, their just getting better and better, and as a bonus here, we can now buy ALL the CCTs off the shelf!, something we NEVER got to do with CFL!
