HID, LPS, and preheat fluorescents forever!!!!!!

| I do not think that half coated /X mercury vapor lamps in 700w actually existed, but the half coated lamps in North America were only available in 1000w H36 and 1000w H34 versions from what I am aware of, but there were fully phosphored 700w H35 /X lamps that existed too. Some people believe that Hollywood’s famous 3 lamp 700w H35 mercury vapor street lanterns once used /X lamps when they were originally installed in the early 1960s.

| One of the very old Siemens 300w or 500w clear tubular, with bulb shape at the end SBMV lamps ... other than that, i am not sure as i have most if not all other lamps i have ever wanted now!

| I also really want a MAT/V, but knowing how much these bulbs go for the currency conversion from pounds to CAD is likely too much for me.

| My dream lamp doesn't exist, but it's possible to build them. It's the SL-Prismatic SOX with magnetic ballast lol
Now you just picture this as a regular 240V magnetic ballasted SL lamp, a 18w MK2 but the tube is clear with dimples, designed to operate base up or horizontal position, unlike the regular SL, the prismatic cover can be remove for easy cleaning.

I think you're in 240V 50Hz land, a 100W MV one would probably be a good one to start with, they run fine on a 70W HPS ballast (without the ignitor, of course).

Yeah, they're still easy to find on the US eBay but watch out for shipping costs. It's worth it to shop around sellers as the shipping costs for the same item sometimes vary widely between sellers, especially for international shipments. 175w and 250w lamps with a /DX coating seem to be the most common on eBay. Unfortunately 100w lamps seem to be a bit rarer to come by. Anyway 175w lamps should run satisfactorily on a 150w HPS choke without ignitor in 240v countries. Although 175w MH/MV 240v 50Hz CWA gear is sometimes available too. 250w MV should run fine on a 240v 250w MV choke. |

I found a couple of hits online for Advance 71A55N0 which is the 120/240v 50hz export version of standard Advance M57 175w MH CWA ballast. |
