My grandmother accidentally hit my Philips incandescent lamp on the ground while cleaning, and although the shell was not broken, the tungsten filament had broken.

I once broke a pink Japanese market Toshiba F40T10 tube when I tripped over but in the end I said to myself that a broken lamp is better than a broken bone.
