About 5 kilometers from my apartment in the next town is a pedestrian crossing that is still lit with SOX lamps.



I only took the photo with my smartphone, so it's not top quality.
Nevertheless, the conditions were favourable.



It had rained a little earlier. The road reflects the light a little better.
The fixture is "AEG Koffer".
These fixtures with the SOX lamps will probably disappear soon.
That was the reason why I photographed them.

Hello Michael,

that won't be possible for me. There is hardly any space left for more fixtures. I suspect that these two fixtures with SOX and also the other fixtures with the fluorescent tubes will one day be scrapped.

Yes I see. These are quite large and voluminous.

I have two of them...they're beautiful. A third unit has no bowl and I salvaged only the components.
