ID ?- 1950's TOTELITE BURGESS BATs Fluorescent Lantern W/ Military # I Can't Find
I found this at an estate sale and can't seem to find any good info on its origin.
It may be for mining, considered explosion proof.
Pretty good label but difficult to find the origin (please see photo). Seems to be older than the othtr TOTELITE'S I could find.  Heavy metal case.
Light, Watertight, Portable, Fluorescent
Type W? - 6G
Manufacturer's Part No. 1011D
Specification MIL-L-7747 (Aer)
Contract Or Order No. NOas 53-092-f
Manufacturer's name Or trademark TOTELITE
U.S. Property
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

My guess is that it could have come from a US Air Force base, as the specification starts MIL, and the explosion proof suggests a weapons bunker.  :wndr:
