Inserting broken FDL27 CFL lamp in fixture without realizing it at first « on: January 21, 2024, 02:10:03 PM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
How many of you have ever dealt with broken non-integrated CFL lamps that you accidentally inserted into fixtures without realizing that they were broken at first and only finding out once you flipped the switch?

In this video, you can see this exact same thing happen when someone is trying to replace a FDL27 CFL lamp in a Japanese recessed downlight fixture. Take note of the electrodes glowing without the lamp striking an arc at the 1:17 timestamp. Later on, you can see the crack on the newly discovered broken FDL27 CFL lamp at the 2:26 timestamp.

In the end, you can hear the Pokemon Pikachu singing!!
